Originally from frost-bitten, beautiful, Western Canada, I left my little town of St.Albert, Alberta at the age of 19 and set off for London with very few plans other than I wanted to see as much of the world as possible. This weaved its way into two years of backpacking around the world, followed by University in London, and an internship in Paris which miraculously led me to landing a dream job working in sports’ sponsorship in London. I worked in the corporate world for ten years, mostly in motorsport sponsorship, vroom vroom to the amount of weekends I spent at F1 tracks, on remote rally courses and watching MotoGP speed by. I’m so grateful for those opportunities, having introduced me to more countries, cultures, friends and experiences than I could have ever wished for.
Fast forward and I am now very happily settled on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia with my two gorgeous daughters and an amazing husband (usually the one at home patiently doing puzzles and playgrounds whilst we’re making you two official!).
Being a celebrant has meant that I have been able to pursue a profession which enables me to take advantage of all the skills I gained working in marketing and events (plus my natural penchant for asking questions and talking) and put them to good use in an amazing industry where I get to be a part of one of the most wonderful days in people’s lives, their wedding day.
I love getting to know couples, getting to know the who, what, when, where, why and how of how your story unfolded. I believe I offer a very personalised service and I love delivering relaxed, heartfelt ceremonies which I genuinely believe set a great tone for your day.
